Traditional Japanese make-up brush used to apply oshiroi / Kabuki Face Paste used as the white base for Kabuki, Noh, Butoh, Maiko and Junior Geisha. The length of the handle allows for easy reach when applying makeup to the back of the neck, particularly for making the Maiko and Geisha crescent on the nape of the neck. The brush is suitable for applying thick coatings, such as Kabuki face Paste.
